1. Application and Entry Requirements

All individuals wishing to exhibit must complete both an Expression of Interest (EOI) form and an Exhibition Application form within the specified timeframe.
Payment of the entry fee must be made prior to the closing date for submissions.
All forms are available online.

The number of hung artworks permitted for each exhibitor will vary depending on the exhibition space.
After receiving completed EOI forms, the Exhibition Officer will determine the allocation of hanging artworks for each exhibitor, considering the total number of participants and the available space.

All hanging artworks must use the D-hook hanging system to ensure consistency and safety.
Frames and glass must be clean and free from damage prior to submission.

Each artist may place up to 20 cards in the card stand, with cards and envelopes, no larger than A5.
Each card must have a clear label on the back with the artist’s name and price.
All cards from a single artist will be sold at one uniform price (e.g., $5 or $8) to assist with ease of transaction.
Cards will be displayed in the Art Society’s dedicated card stand, supplied by the Society.
Original hand-painted cards are exempt from the uniform pricing rule and will be treated as unique items.
The rostered member will make every effort to monitor card sales; however, security of cards remains the responsibility of the artist due to ongoing supervision demands.

Each artist may submit up to 10 prints.
Digital Prints will be displayed in designated cradles (large or small).
A Perspex divider will be used to separate artists’ work, with each divider clearly labelled with the artist’s name.
Prints must be no larger than A2.
At the curator’s discretion, some prints may be displayed separately.
Prints produced by traditional fine art methods must be labelled Fine Arts Limited Edition, including:
- Edition number
- Title
- Artist’s signature
- Date of production

Each artist may submit up to 2 small artworks.
Small artworks are independent from the main hanging submissions.
Small artworks must be framed and must not exceed A4 size once framed.
Works can be displayed using small easels or frame-stands, subject to the space available.
Alternatively, small artworks can be displayed in a clear acrylic container, no larger than A4 size base and 15 cm deep. In which case, the number of items submitted is dictated by the container’s dimensions.

All artworks must remain on display for the entire duration of the exhibition. They may not be removed early by the artist unless sold.
Delivery and collection of artworks must be carried out by the artist, following the specifications in the application form.

All exhibitors, including Workshop Coordinators and participating artists, must attend their assigned rostered sitting times.
Attendance times will be provided in the exhibition roster.
Exhibiting members must supply two availability options.
Members who cannot fulfil sitting requirements must withdraw from the exhibition.
If you withdraw within five days of making payment, you will receive a refund.

The curator’s decisions regarding the exhibition are final.
Changes to the layout will only occur when a sold artwork is removed by its purchaser.

All submitted works must be the original creation of the artist.
Failure to comply with copyright law will result in disqualification.
By submitting artwork, exhibitors confirm that they hold the rights to display and sell the work, and that it does not infringe third-party copyrights.
The Art Society accepts no liability for copyright disputes arising from exhibited works.

Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in denial of exhibition privileges.
