Hey there! I’m Michelle Springett, and my art is all about celebrating two things I absolutely adore: Australian birds and the incredible strength and beauty of women.

I’ve always been mesmerized by the stunning diversity of birds in Australia, from the vibrant hues of the rainbow lorikeet to the majestic flight of the black cockatoo. Through my paintings, I aim to capture the energy and vibrancy of our feathered friends, each brushstroke bringing their unique personalities to life.

I am also also fascinated by the power and resilience of women. In my portraits, I strive to capture the essence of femininity: from quiet introspection to bold defiance. Each woman I paint tells her own story, with layers of emotion and strength shining through every stroke.

For me, art is about connection—between people, between nature, and between the past and present. Through my work, I hope to spark a sense of joy and wonder in others, inviting them to appreciate the beauty and diversity of the world around us.
