Still Life Drawing and Painting

Develop your Drawing and Painting skills using a selection of Still Life Objects to create either a drawing or painting. Selecting pencil, charcoal or coloured pencils the emphasis will be on using various rendering and tonal styles to create a still life drawing on paper. These materials will be supplied. If you wish to do drawing, you might then like to attend the following workshop (20th January) to use your drawing that you have completed as a reference for a Still Life Painting.

If selecting to complete a Still Life Painting, instructions and an emphasis on placement of objects, application of paint and use of tonal variations will enable you to paint a Still Life.  Basic materials will be supplied that will include: Acrylic paint, brushes, canvas (this will either be a wide edge or flat canvas board). You are welcome to bring your own materials if you wish.
