Coastal Textured Art Workshop – Cheryl Cattarin
Come and immerse yourself in the beauty and tranquillity of the coast as you create your own piece of textured coastal art.
In this relaxed and creative workshop, you’ll explore the use of texture, colour and movement to recreate the feeling of waves rolling onto a sandy shoreline. Using texture medium, layered acrylic paints and simple techniques, you’ll build up the surface of your canvas to create beautiful three-dimensional waves, foamy sea spray and shimmering coastal sand.
You’ll be guided step-by-step, but there is plenty of room to add your own intuitive touches and create a coastal scene that is uniquely yours.
No previous painting experience is necessary — just come along, enjoy some creative time for yourself and let the textures and colours of the ocean inspire you.
And you get to take home your own beautiful textured coastal artwork.
