Isabelle Mc
Artist profile
Isabelle Mc is a Creative Arts student majoring in Visual Arts, entering her graduate year with a practice that blends colour, detail, and expressive movement. She now works primarily with oils and acrylics, exploring both semi-abstract and realist approaches.
Her work often reflects on nature and animals through a wide variety of colours. She moves between fluid, colourful pieces and more detailed, representational works, allowing each painting to find its own balance between clarity and expression.
In early 2025, Isabelle started a new series of miniature paintings, creating detailed 4 × 5 cm portraits, and later 10 × 10 cm commissioned pet artworks. These miniature pieces have become a defining part of her practice.
