Still Life Drawing and Painting

Develop your Drawing and Painting skills using a selection of Still Life Objects to create either a drawing or painting, and if you attended the initial lesson on January 13th, you’re invited to use your previous drawing as a reference for a Still Life Painting. Selecting pencil, charcoal or coloured pencils the emphasis will be on using various rendering and tonal styles to create a still life drawing on paper. These materials will be supplied.

If selecting to complete a Still Life Painting, instructions and an emphasis on placement of objects, application of paint and use of tonal variations will enable you to paint a Still Life.  Basic materials will be supplied that will include: Acrylic paint, brushes, canvas (this will either be a wide edge or flat canvas board). You are welcome to bring your own materials if you wish.
